What would Jesus do?

Hey there - This is a very quick dispatch because, well, watch what happened this morning out in Iowa:

"Pete Buttigieg whipping Jesus as Devil mocks and laughs"

This horrifying scene took place across the street from where Pete Buttigieg was appearing at a neighborhood campaign stop. Because Pete Buttigieg is gay, and married, and is a man of faith, he receives a lot of crazed hate from "conservative Christians". And what better way to depict this animus than the Holy Week street theatre depiction of the Devil cackling as Mayor Pete brutalizes Jesus.

From this point on, The Daily Kibitz endorses Pete Buttigieg for President. This shit has got to stop.

And yes, what would Jesus do? Weep.
