In the early to mid 1960's there was probably no one funnier on Earth than Woody Allen. After having spent years toiling as a comedy writer for such TV shows as Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows, The Tonight Show, Ed Sullivan, and others, he finally stepped out into the spotlight.
